“ripe” vs. “edible”

One of our most important concerns and objectives is that, contrary to conventional markets, our fruit is harvestet and delivered in a ripe state!

For this it is good to know, that tree-ripe or physiologically ripe doesn’t have to be ready-to-eat. There are fruits like Avocado, Kiwi or Kaki, which are harvested in a harder state than they are eaten in. Physiologically ripe means: all nutrients are fully developed and the fruit can reach full ripeness on its own!

To be able to deliver the fruit to you in their best shape, we might ship them a bit harder and you will be able to enjoy them in full ripeness after 1-2 days in room temperature.
